- Each shade is hung, pretreated and hand scrubbed front and back to ensure that it is thoroughly cleaned prior to submerging in our ultrasonic tanks. The appropriate green cleaners for this pretreatment and hand cleaning are chosen based on the amount of soil build-up, stains, fabric type, etc.
- Submerge the window coverings in a specially prepared water tank which is attached to ultrasonic emitters. These emitters gently vibrate the dirt from the window covering without any risk of damage to the material itself.
- Transfer the item to an air jet rinse tank which gently rinses any remaining dirt and residue from the item.
- Protective polish is applied to minimize dust build-up and protect the finish of the blind.
- The items are then transferred to a drying area where they are dried using high pressure blow dryers and commercial heaters. Any remaining water spots are then detailed by hand.
- The blind mechanisms are checked and lubricated to ensure smooth operation.
The entire process, which uses eco-friendly biodegradable cleaning agents, is very gentle to all types of blinds, shades, and other types of materials.
Excellent results are achieved with both metal and plastic mini-blinds, along with standard pleated and honeycomb pleated shades, silhouettes, faux and real wood blinds, and both PVC and fabric vertical shades.
In addition, the cords, wand, tracks, and valances will be sparkling clean.
